Coaching

The ORGAN Leadership Journey starts with a comprehensive needs assessment led by your ORGAN project manager. Based on this foundation, our coaches familiarize themselves with your company's culture and current challenges. This approach ensures program alignment right from the beginning.

The coaching process begins with the evaluation of the profiling in a one-on-one conversation. The feedback provides a high level of motivation for the executive to navigate the behavioural dimensions more consciously in the future.

The subsequent coaching is available in both Single and Peer-Group settings and is tailored to suit your current challenges.

Peer-Group Coaching

In nine weekly sessions, leaders collaborate in groups of four persons. In this safe and trusting environment, they share experiences and challenges from their leadership roles and work together to find solutions. Between sessions, participants put their new insights into practice. This is beneficial for everyone—each person learns for themselves and from the group—focusing on personal growth and contributing to the development of colleagues.

Professional ORGAN coaches provide regular support and input to the peer groups ensuring optimal group work results. The peer group format promotes the development of coaching skills. Furthermore, working in these groups fosters trust and a shared understanding of leadership (across locations).

The process is framed by one-on-one sessions with the coach to clarify goals and ensure knowledge transfer.

Case Study: Peer-Group Coaching

An international M-Dax corporation pursues the goals of cross-location net-working of its executives, developing a joint understanding of leadership, and building leadership skills. […]

For Peer-Group Coaching, groups of participants from different locations and time zones are formed using the ORGAN app. Similar levels of leadership experience are also considered. The coaching sessions are conducted in English.

During the peer-group sessions, current cases are discussed. Participants take different roles that rotate over time.

  • Case Presenter: Raises a concern and presents the case
  • Peer Coach: Asks the right questions
  • Competence Expert: Links the case to the ORGAN dimensions
  • Moderator: Ensures time management and structure
  • ORGAN Coach: Facilitates and supports the process

Over a period of nine weeks, 15 cases are addressed. This approach notably strengthens coaching skills. The group gains insight into regional differences while discovering shared corporate culture and values. A significant number of peer-groups continue to meet beyond the "official program" to discuss current cases.

Single Coaching

Our Single Coaching program consists of seven 60-minute sessions over a seven-week period. Current leadership challenges are addressed. The goal is to increase leadership effectiveness through conscious and situational control of one's own behaviour.

In the first session, the results of the video profiling are discussed. For each competency dimension, examples are drawn from the individual's leadership experience by asking questions such as "In what situation have I communicated inclusively?" or "In what situations do I motivate through demands?". By referring to everyday practice, managers gain knowledge that enables them to lead more consciously.

Between sessions, leaders are given specific assignments to work on expanding their leadership skills. We follow a three-step approach: Recognize, develop, and apply new, effective behaviours.

Through ORGAN Profiling, it becomes clear that the leader perceives their impact differently from how it is perceived by the team. It also reveals that the behavioural repertoire is rather limited. In some situations, the leader is highly effective, while in others the way of acting is perceived as more confusing.

An individual coaching program is agreed upon, consisting of seven online sessions of 60 minutes each. The goal of the coaching is to increase self-awareness, expand the behavioural spectrum, and act appropriately to the situation.

Between sessions, the client receives app-based transfer tasks. The aim is to observe the way of acting of colleagues and later of oneself, to learn to differentiate between situations, to consciously demonstrate specific behav-iours and to practice them.

After six months, the executive receives feedback by repeating the ORGAN Profiling and assesses the impact of the intervention.
